This month we are excited to showcase Tonya Smith in our Employee Spotlight! Tonya is the Life Enrichment Assistant at Fieldstone Memory Care Kennewick and has been with us for about two years.

Tonya attended Kamiakin High School where she met her husband, whom she has been with since! Together, they have three children and two lovable dogs, Lexi and Dre. 

When Tonya began working with us here at Fieldstone, she started out as a caregiver and quickly shifted to a MedTech. She has now been operating under the title of Life Enrichment Director since December 2017.

 Tonya loves working with residents and the wonderful staff we have here. Since she has transferred to the Life Enrichment department, our resident participation has been at its highest yet! Tonya truly has a way with residents; she always gets them engaged in the activities and keeps their attention. Tonya truly creates a joyful and vibrant community! 

With her background as a caregiver and MedTech, Tonya is able to pick up shifts and help out on the floor when needed. She is a great team player and always goes above and beyond for the needs of the residents. Tonya said,

“I love interacting with the residents and bringing them joy every day!”
