Fieldstone Memory Care Wenatchee will be opening soon, and we're excited to introduce our Director of Nursing Services, Don Dreyer, in this month’s Employee Spotlight!
Don is a long-time resident of the Wenatchee Valley and raised his family right here in Central Washington spending most of their lives in Lake Chelan. He is happily married to his wife, Katie, who is also a Nurse. Together they enjoy hiking in the Pacific Northwest and exploring little known, local treasures throughout Washington state. Don enjoys serving in their church, biking, swimming in Lake Chelan and spending time with their grandchild.
Don completed his degree in Nursing at Wenatchee Valley College. Throughout his career, he has worked as a Registered Nurse (RN), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and Psychiatric Technician. He also had the experience of working in a variety of fields including sports medicine, physical therapy, urgent care, and emergency medicine. Don takes pride in being a CPR, First Aid instructor, and a veteran. Having served in the U.S. Navy, he draws from that experience to help others daily. He is constantly mindful of the safety and well-being of those around him.
We believe that Don’s extensive, diverse background has helped to shape him into a well-balanced medical professional. What will strike people the most about Don is his caring and attentive nature - his passion for others is boundless.
The Director of Nursing Services position is perfectly suited for Don’s natural enthusiasm, positive attitude, dedication to mentorship, and thoughtful wisdom. His leadership will help create an inspired, highly capable and dedicated care team for our Fieldstone Memory Care Wenatchee residents.
We are thrilled to have Don as part of our Fieldstone Communities team. We look forward to serving the residents of Wenatchee and the surrounding areas. If you would like to learn more about our memory care communities, or any of our Fieldstone properties, visit our website today.
